Finally....All is well in Whoville...

Good Morning girls... I haven't been able to post for the last 5 days ....we had server problems that shut us down   ...God willing it is fixed now... I really missed you... It made me anxious being unable to post when I wanted to...Anyway during my time away from the computer I was trying a project or two....the first one was something I've been mulling over for a while now .... I had an old lamp I wanted to re purpose...then recently my sweetie and I found an old wire basket at a yard sale that was screaming at me to use in some way. So this week I did this to both of them....

I dug out a can of black paint from the garage...

Washed the lamp and the basket off..let them dry...

Then I tied some twine on the basket...filled it with a fern I had

and WALA...I had a plant stand for the back porch ....

I know it's a bit hard to see the detail of the basket and lamp because our hand rails on the house are rought iron ...so it kind of blends in....but I was thrilled with it....my sweetie thought it looked great too......

While I was working Frankie Coffeecake our kitty was peeking out the screen door ...he is my "little buddy" so sweet to keep me company .....Well girls what do you think....it was an easy project....fast to create ...the hardest part was waiting for the paint to dry....(I get impatient)....in no time at all the vision I had in my mind was all done......I hope you have a great Saturday afternoon.....I am going to spend some time with my sweetie....talk to you again soon......blessings and hugs Karena
