Shoo Fly.....Shoo...

They gathered at the "Sitting Room Window"....if you look closely you can see one...yuck

Most of them congregated in the Kitchen Window....not where we want flies EVER....I am clueless to WHY they've suddenly appeared...my sweet husband was up very early this morning ....Zapping his fair share ....I was so appreciative...cause truthfully girls. ....I REALLY DON'T LIKE KILLING ANYTHING...not even flies....I'm committed to stay on top of this intrusion today too if needed...I hope your day is much nicer with FUN things to think about....

As for me I will be here ....ZAPPER in hand trying to get a handle on this...while at the same time asking my Heavenly Father for some divine intervention.....he created fly's ....surely he can encourage them to ....STAY OUTSIDE......hugs to you all today thank you for stopping by....Karena

Sweet Relief...Thinking Cool Thoughts.....

Good Morning.....Ahhh the temperature this morning is heavenly....I've been outside to water the garden ...wash the dust from the porch ....I was listening to the  chirping of the birds as though they're singing a happy song of thanks for a cooler morning...I am thinking of fall this morning BIG TIME....I have some pictures to share some of them are mine...some are my sister-in-law's....I just thought a few fall like indulgences sounded fun ...so here are my offerings...

This is one of the Karla Dornacher books I am currently hunting for ...I love her books this one is perfectly Fall like..AND...it reminds me to be THANKFUL

I love Ice Cream....any time.....but in the fall it seems to taste better....I always think a crisp day and Ice Cream go great together.....

My Sister-in-Law took this picture recently while she was visiting  in Oregon my sweetie has two sisters the youngest one works for the Parks & Recreation Dept. in Oregon every summer at this Look-Out....I think she's blessed to have such an incredible place to enjoy....I know she has lots of responsibilities while she's there like keeping her eye's peeled for forest fires still I believe the scenery is BREATHTAKING....even if it is her JOB

Some things that help me BREATH.....

Hello Lady's.....I was thinking yesterday how blessed I am to have a passion for design...ALL kinds of things provide inspiration....I am finding as I travel along the "blogging highway"....you girls share your ASTOUNDING TALENT...seamlessly every day ......It's like being on a huge field trip of creativity every time I click my computer....SO. today I wanted to share some of the things that are a constant inspiration for me....anytime I see things like this I am EXCITED....

Anything Limoges like is always something I want to bring home

Magazines like Romantic Homes...Victoria.....Flea Market Style provide me with the eye candy I need to create....I also have a secret dream as I turn every page.... I would love to have the talent  to take pictures like these (Loved these from the Aug issue of Romantic Homes)....

Water.....lots of it....everywhere....I am OVER THE MOON when I am around water....up in the mountains...at the beach...sitting beside a lake....if it is wet....then it's for me......

Architectural elements....in any form....always FASCINATE me......the detail of this cobblestone curb is simple but enchanting

Anything Old like... this Parisian Hotel key.....to me it looks amazing laying on this tablecloth....it captures the imagination to look at it....THAT'S THE MAGIC of caring for antiques and vintage things....to me I never feel alone when I am surrounded by well worn....years old treasures....

So Girls....here are my final thoughts on this subject...I am blessed because I  believe the gift to create... having the ability to think outside the box ....when we're inspired in our hearts when we are so filled up we find we can't contain it....That passion spills out of our hearts ....into our homes....our relationships....our everyday existence.....THAT IS WHAT I CALL BEING BLESSED.........this knowledge is what helps me  BREATH....I thank you so much for stopping by....I hear our heat wave is coming to an end by the end of today....Praise God.....big hugs to you today.....Karena

Garden Store Extrordinaire.....

Happy Tuesday morning lady's...I have a wonderful Garden Shop to share today ....this is a place we used to come to often when we were still living near here....I hadn't been for over 9 years....my sweetie drove me there after Estate Sales Saturday....I hope you enjoy .......

A GREAT MORNING AT THE ESTATE SALE....THIS CHAIR WAS SO PRETTY ....THE WINE GOBLETS BELOW SAT ON THE FORMAL BAR .....

 

Whew...we had a busy weekend ....we celebrated my Sister's Birthday last night at a restaurant called "Bone Fish"...we had so much fun... having the whole FAM together....she had a swell time...Saturday we read about an amazing Estate Sale in our area that was nestled in a very high end  neighborhood ....I had butterflies just thinking about taking pictures to share with you today...the house was BEAUTIFUL...a little out dated but mostly amazing....My sweetie and I walked up the drive to this..

This house was 7800 square feet of GORGEOUS...

This life size Bronze statue in the Garden was selling for 4,800 dollars it was beautiful
