New Day...New Month...New Me....

Whew.....Hello Ladies it's been a while ....I am HAPPY to be back to my blog....let me tell you the last week has been so busy...with Irene hitting ....clean up...and FINALLY helping my daughter and her sweetie move into their new house...I have some pictures of Irene below...kind of hard to see but this was outside on my daughters deck on the third floor...we were starting to flood a bit here....the storm itself was not as scary as Isabel...(what is it with storms named with "I's")... anyway...what was scary was the way Irene stalled over us for HOURS...afterward as we poked our heads outside we realized the Lord had REALLY BLESSED US.....we were spared as far as damage...trees down...and mega flooding...Praise God... I thought of you all while I was hunkered in....I hope all of you on the East Coast are well and not suffering too much with power outages etc....I am happy to greet a new month...happy September 1st....I changed my background this morning...I am CRAVING FALL...I will share some tomorrow about my daughters move...for now I hope you all have a SPLENDID DAY....

The kids took us to lunch Tues. after the movers left...

This food was FABULOUS...all freshly sliced Italian subs...it was delicious "Jersey Mike's" are any of you familiar ?....this was our first time....we will definitely be back...that was our Tuesday the kids are so happy...we are too...now if we can just get through the next month with no more Hurricanes.....life will be GRAND....thank you girls for popping in big hugs and blessings too....Karena
